Horror legend John Carpenter is releasing his first full-length graphic novel, "John Carpenter's Cathedral," through Storm King Comics on August 4, 2026. Co-written by Carpenter, Sandy King, and Sean Sobczak, the 120-page horror story is set in downtown Los Angeles and follows detectives investigating a murder linked to an ancient evil within an abandoned cathedral. Carpenter described the inspiration as a nightmare landscape filled with sinister monsters.
