DC Studios greenlights Absolute Batman animated series with creator Scott Snyder as showrunner
DC Studios and Warner Bros have greenlit an animated series based on the comic Absolute Batman, with creator Scott Snyder serving as showrunner. The series reimagines a younger Bruce Wayne and was announced at the 2026 Annecy International Animation Festival alongside other DC animated projects. This new series adds to the growing slate of DC animated shows, though only Creature Commandos is currently considered canon to the DCU.
