The Pokemon Company has partnered with Disney for a new stop-motion animated series, Pokemon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch'd and Pichu, produced by Aardman Animations. This series, along with the classic Pokemon the Series: The Beginning, will stream exclusively on Disney Plus and Disney XD worldwide next year. The announcement was made at Pokemon XP, with a teaser trailer showcasing the Galar region-inspired adventures of Sirfetch'd and Pichu.

Disney has announced that "Pokemon the Series: The Beginning" and the upcoming "Pokemon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu" will be available on its streaming service, Disney+. "Pokemon the Series: The Beginning" is launching in select markets, including the United States and the UK.
