The latest update for Nvidia's RTX Remix platform, version 1.5, significantly reduces the file sizes of RTX-enhanced games. Half-Life 2 RTX has shrunk from 80 GB to 50 GB, and Portal with RTX from 25 GB to 17 GB, thanks to the integration of RTX IO technology. The update also introduces 'smooth normals' for better geometry appearance and improved viewport light controls, alongside new 'RTX Remix Skills' to assist modders with AI integration.
