Paul Greengrass's upcoming film, previously titled 'The Uprising', has been renamed 'The Uprising: The Rise of Robin Hood', revealing it to be an origin story for the legendary outlaw. Starring Andrew Garfield as the lead character, initially known as Ploughman, the movie depicts the 1381 English Peasants' Revolt and its connection to Robin Hood's legend. The film is set to be released on September 10, 2026.
