Classic PS1 Shooter Gets Surprise PS5 Port, Release Date Set
The cult classic PlayStation 1 mecha shoot 'em up, Robot Anime Geppy-X, is receiving an HD remaster and will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on July 16, 2026. This marks the game's first release in North America, having originally launched exclusively in Japan in 1999. The remaster features HD visuals, upscaling, and restored 24fps animation.
