Back from the cold: Snow War - Multiplayer FPS in Early Access 3rd April 2026!
Finnish indie developer Gnomecraft announced that their multiplayer first-person shooter, Snow War, will launch on Steam Early Access on April 3rd, 2026, for PC. Originally a Half-Life mod, the standalone version will be priced at $9.99 with a 30% launch discount. The game supports up to 16 players online and features character customization and power-ups, built on Unreal Engine.

Snow War is a new first-person snowball brawler that pits up to sixteen players against each other in frozen arenas with a 1980s neon aesthetic. The game features classic arena shooter intensity with family-friendly chaos, power-ups for tactical advantages, and supports online, LAN, and offline bot battles. Character customization is available, with future updates planned for team modes and configurable private servers.
