The shelved Star Wars comedy series, Star Wars Detours, which completed 39 episodes in 2013, will finally receive public screenings at the Lucas Museum of Narrative Art starting September 22, 2026. The show, a parody created by Lucasfilm Animation in collaboration with Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, is set between Star Wars: Episode III and Episode IV and features original cast members. The series was shelved by Lucasfilm shortly after its acquisition by Disney due to concerns about its tone conflicting with the new trilogy's direction.
