Marvel's X-Force movie, planned by Fox before Disney's acquisition, was set to feature Josh Brolin as both Cable and the villain Stryfe, according to Deadpool creator Rob Liefeld. Brolin had signed a multi-picture deal for the role. The film was ultimately cancelled due to the Disney-Fox merger.
