The classic 1986 action game The Legend of Kage is being re-released for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on June 18 for $7.99. Developer Hamster is bringing the title to modern platforms with added features like customizable controls and save states, as part of their Console Archives series.

Hamster has announced that The Legend of Kage will be the latest addition to the Console Archives series on Nintendo Switch, releasing on June 18. Originally released by Taito in 1986, this 8-bit action game tasks players with rescuing Kirihime from villains using ninja techniques. The Console Archives series aims to faithfully reproduce classic games with modern conveniences like save states and customizable controls.
The Legend of Kage gets modern re-release
Hamster Corporation announced that TAITO's 1986 action game, The Legend of Kage, will be re-released on June 18th for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5. The game features a ninja named Kage fighting through a demon realm to rescue Kirihime.
