ARK: Survival Ascended has released three new content additions: the free Genesis Ascended map, the paid Tides of Fortune DLC, and the paid ARK: Dragontopia DLC. Studio Wildcard has delayed the release of the Ark: Genesis Ascended expansion and its Tides of Fortune DLC to July 2nd to ensure a smoother launch. Genesis Ascended Part One is a free expansion for Ark: Survival Ascended, featuring new creatures and biomes, while Tides of Fortune is a pirate-themed adventure developed by Grapeshot Games.
ARK FRANCHISE REVEALS AT IGN LIVE 2026
At IGN Live 2026, Studio Wildcard revealed ARK Maker, a new world-building mode for ARK: Survival Ascended, and shared details about ARK: The Animated Series. The studio also announced the upcoming release of the Genesis Ascended Part 1 remaster and the Tides of Fortune expansion on June 25, featuring new naval gameplay and creatures.
