Thimbleweed Park 2 is 'not really a sequel, not really a prequel,' but it is finally happening
Ron Gilbert and Gary Winnick's Terrible Toybox studio has announced that Thimbleweed Park 2 is in early development, with a planned release in early 2028. The game will feature returning characters Ray and Reyes and is described as a 'spoof of a classic whodunit' rather than a direct sequel or prequel. It will be available on Windows, Mac, and Linux via Steam and GOG.
