Dave Filoni dashes Star Wars fan hopes with Hunt for Ben Solo denial: "The Force is not with us"
Lucasfilm co-president Dave Filoni has definitively stated that the "Hunt for Ben Solo" movie, which would have starred Adam Driver, is not happening. Filoni confirmed the project's cancellation, echoing previous rejections by Disney executives who questioned the character's survival. Director Steven Soderbergh also expressed regret that fans would not see his vision for the film.
