The Boys' The Deep star once pitched his own spin-off inspired by an HBO dark comedy and Tropic Thunder
Chase Crawford, who plays The Deep in The Boys, revealed he once pitched a spin-off series for his character. The proposed show would have been a half-hour comedy inspired by Tropic Thunder and HBO's Barry, focusing on The Deep as a D-list actor. However, the idea is unlikely to be realized as The Deep was killed off in the season finale.
