Live-Action Kiki’s Delivery Service Show in Development
A live-action television series based on Eiko Kadono's novel Kiki's Delivery Service is in development, with Kadokawa, Wheels in Motion, and the BBC collaborating. Irena Brignull is attached to write the screenplay for the 10-episode, 30-minute-per-episode series. The original novel, which inspired the Studio Ghibli anime, celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2025.
