The Rings of Power season 3 is bringing in Aragorn's ancestor and a hugely important Lord of the Rings character
The third season of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power will introduce Elros, the first King of Numenor and ancestor of Aragorn, in a flashback. Actor Robert Aramayo will portray Elros, reprising his role as Elrond's brother. The season, set to premiere on November 11, 2026, will also explore the brewing civil war in Numenor.
