Nintendo has confirmed that the mysterious white-haired character, Eshmel, is the true protagonist of Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. The game will feature four initial protagonists whose stories can be played simultaneously, with Eshmel able to travel back in time to unite them and prevent the world's end. The game also introduces a mechanic to view alternate timelines without full replays, unlike Fire Emblem Three Houses.
