New God Of War franchise has you playing as the last character you'd expect

A new God of War universe game is reportedly in development at Santa Monica Studio, with Faye, Kratos's deceased wife and Atreus's mother, as the lead character. The game is expected to be revealed this year and launch in the first half of 2027, featuring gameplay that focuses more on action compared to the recent Norse saga entries.
