Moon Cresta - A faithful recreation of an Arcade classic for the Amiga via Johnny Acevedo(Amiten Games)

Amiten Games has released a faithful recreation of the arcade classic Moon Cresta for the Amiga, developed from scratch by Johnny Acevedo. This version aims for "arcade-perfect" 50 FPS gameplay on Amiga 1200 systems by utilizing AMAL and optimizing the programming loop. While the Amiga 500 currently runs at 25 FPS, the project is a tribute to the original Nichibutsu game and AMOS creator François Lionet.

The Tale of Sir Galahad - An upcoming Amiga game originally inspired by Monty Python

The Tale of Sir Galahad the Chaste, an upcoming Commodore Amiga adventure platformer developed solo by Empedocles, is nearing a playable demo release after two years of development. Initially inspired by Monty Python, the game now features a serious narrative based on Holy Grail mythology and Gnostic Christianity, with players controlling Sir Galahad to defeat Yaldabaoth. The game is programmed in AMOS Basic and targets an Amiga A500 setup, with a PC release planned for Steam later.

Amiten Games, led by Johnny Acevedo, is developing a faithful recreation of the arcade classic Moon Cresta for the Amiga platform. This project is a from-scratch build, not a port, aiming for arcade-perfect mechanics and graphics. An alpha build (v0.2) is available, showcasing smooth ship control, a full assembly system, and 60% of the arcade levels and graphics recreated.
