Expanded AMD HDMI 2.1 support is coming to Linux
AMD is bringing expanded HDMI 2.1 support to Linux through new patches for the amdgpu driver, addressing a current lack of features for AMD GPUs on the platform. The implementation includes HDMI FRL support, with DSC testing underway. This update is expected to be fully available once compliance testing is complete.
