CyberConnect2 has announced .hack//Z.E.R.O., a new self-published Role-Playing Game that marks the revival of the .hack franchise after nearly two decades. CEO Hiroshi Matsuyama stated the project signifies a "restarting .hack from zero" and will be set approximately 10 years in the future, focusing on the MMORPG "The World" with a more direct experience of both in-game and real-world perspectives.
