Former Capcom and Vanillaware developer Yoshio Nishimura has created Veritas Tales: Witch of the Dark Castle, a choose your own adventure RPG developed over six years in a remote Japanese mountain village. The game, which heavily draws inspiration from tabletop RPGs and features hand-drawn art by Nishimura, is set to release on July 9th and is available to wishlist on Steam. The soundtrack is being composed by Hitoshi Sakimoto.

A symphonic concert titled "The Colors of Harmony" will celebrate the 40-year career of composer Hitoshi Sakimoto in London on June 13, 2026. The event, performed by the London Mozart Players, will feature music from games like Final Fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy XII, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim, and Odin Sphere Leifthrasir.
