Pokemon: Wild Card movie announced at Pokemon Worlds 2026
A new animated Pokemon movie titled Pokemon: Wild Card has been announced, focusing on a trading card game player and featuring Mimikyu. The film is slated for a 2027 release and is directed by Katsuhiko Kitada with character design by Akemi Hayashi, produced by CloverWorks and Story Inc. The announcement was made during the Pokemon Worlds 2026 closing show.
