Diddy Kong Racing reveals unused character Roo
Artist Kevin Bayliss, who worked on the Nintendo 64 title Diddy Kong Racing, revealed an unused kangaroo character named Roo. Roo was ultimately scrapped because it didn't make sense for a baby kangaroo to operate vehicles while wearing boxing gloves, with Pipsy taking her place later in development. Bayliss also shared details about the character's rendering and a past pitch for Diddy Kong Racing Adventure.
