Steven Spielberg has revealed that he developed the science fiction film Interstellar for a year, working with Jonathan Nolan on a script based on Kip S. Thorne's ideas. However, Spielberg ultimately felt the film was "much better" in Christopher Nolan's hands after he took over the project.
