James Gunn would love to keep Man of Tomorrow's villain a secret until the Superman follow-up hits theaters
Director James Gunn expressed a desire to keep the villain Brainiac and the new Superman suit a secret until the movie "Man of Tomorrow" hits theaters in July 2027. While acknowledging that a complete surprise is not feasible, Gunn prefers to reveal as little as possible beforehand. The film has wrapped filming and will feature returning cast members like David Corenswet as Superman and Rachel Brosnahan as Lois Lane, alongside new additions.
