Factorio getting final content update as team moves onto new projects
Wube Software has announced that Factorio will receive its final major content update, version 2.1, which will focus on quality of life improvements, fixes, and modding support. The developer is now shifting its focus to prototyping new game projects, with some team members moving away from Factorio development to work on these new prototypes. Factorio has been available since 2012 and has achieved significant success with over a hundred thousand positive reviews on Steam.
