Ninjala 2: The Uncharted Planet, set to release on the Nintendo Switch 2 in spring 2027, will shift from a battle royale format to an open-world co-op adventure. Game director Motoki Kaneda discussed the inspiration behind the change, the planned DLC structure for its two chapters, and the introduction of new characters while retaining all characters from the original Ninjala.
