Christopher Nolan's upcoming film, The Odyssey, required its cast to learn to sail for real, with filming described as being shot like a documentary. Marine coordinator Neil Andrews assisted the cast in operating an ancient vessel on the open water. The film, an adaptation of Homer's epic poem, is set to release in theaters on July 17.
