Onimusha: Way of the Sword is entering its final development stages, with director Nihei confirming progress in the latest memo. The game, set in the Edo period, features Miyamoto Musashi as the protagonist wielding the Oni Gauntlet to fight demons. It is scheduled for release in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
