Beloved PS2 Games’ Spiritual Successor Sets Release Date in New Trailer
NBA The Run, a spiritual successor to classic PlayStation 2 era basketball games, is set to release in June for PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC. Developed by Play by Play Studios, featuring former EA Sports developers, the game will include over 30 NBA stars and fictional streetball legends. A closed beta will be held on PC on May 1, 2026.
