Kaiji gets new live-action film in 2027
TOHO has announced a new live-action film based on the Kaiji manga, titled Kaiji: Life Revenge Game, set to premiere in Japan on January 29, 2027. Tatsuya Fujiwara will reprise his role as the gambler Kaiji, facing off against Kazuya Hyodo, the young head of the Teiai Group. This film follows three previous live-action adaptations and is based on the original manga by Nobuyuki Fukumoto.
