Nicolas Cage claims director Christopher Nolan has refused to cast him in films after Cage previously turned down a role in Nolan's 2002 film Insomnia. Cage stated that many top directors have not contacted him again after he rejected their offers, with David O. Russell being a notable exception who later offered him another role.
