Reports suggest Crystal Dynamics is developing a new action game based on The Lord of the Rings, contradicting earlier rumors that Warhorse Studios was involved. This project reportedly has $100 million in funding. Separately, an MMORPG based on The Lord of the Rings developed by Amazon Games has allegedly been cancelled.
