Marvel's casting director reflects on Chris Pratt's "heartfelt" Captain America audition: "After that, I was paying attention"
Marvel Studios' lead casting director Sarah Halley Finn recalled Chris Pratt's audition for Captain America, noting his heartfelt performance put him on the studio's radar. Although he didn't get the role of Captain America, Finn later insisted he audition for Peter Quill/Star-Lord in Guardians of the Galaxy, which launched his successful MCU career.
