Paintbucket Games and the Federal Agency for Civic Education have announced SOKO 1977: Anti-Terror Task Force, a historical-political deduction game with roguelike elements set in 1970s West Germany. Players lead a special police task force during a state of emergency, uncovering terrorist networks and managing public perception. The game, developed with historical research, aims to encourage discussion on democracy and extremism and is set for a PC release via Steam in early 2027.
