Path of Exile 2 players are deleting their max-level characters - to make you stronger
Grinding Gear Games has introduced a new mechanic in Path of Exile 2's Return of the Ancients expansion where players can delete their max-level characters to permanently strengthen all future characters in that league. One player, Souaib 'cArn' Hanaf, has already performed this sacrifice, becoming the 'Martyr of the First Edict' and granting a bonus passive skill point to others. The update also includes new ways to craft powerful items and discover hidden passive nodes.
