Evil Empire takes over Brotato development, next update detailed
Evil Empire has taken over the development of the popular roguelike Brotato from original developer Blobfish Games, who will now focus on new projects. Evil Empire, known for its work on Dead Cells and The Rogue Prince of Persia, announced the change and teased the upcoming first update for Brotato, which will include a new enemy called The Gobbler. Brotato has sold over 10 million copies across PC, console, and mobile platforms since its 2023 launch.
