Gamescom 2026: NCsoft’s trailers for multiplayer Like or Die and Cinder City
NCsoft revealed new trailers for its upcoming multiplayer titles Like or Die and Cinder City at Gamescom's Opening Night Live. Like or Die, formerly Project Bonfire, is a team-based survival shooter where players act as streamers, utilizing a 'Block Action' system to reshape the battlefield. Cinder City, which recently had a pre-alpha test, is set in a 21st-century world invaded by aliens, with its new trailer showcasing different character perspectives.

Helldivers 2 is set to receive a major update on August 12, which appears to herald the return of the Illuminate faction, also known as 'squids'. Krafton has launched a new PvE mode for PUBG: Battlegrounds called Xeno Point, where players team up to fight an alien robot invasion. The mode features roguelike elements with increasing difficulty and new "supers" and "blue chip skills." Additionally, the 41.1 update introduces destructible terrain to Erangel and includes crossover content with Stellar Blade and Aespa.
Darwin’s Paradox! Review – Octo-spy
Darwin's Paradox! is a short, humorous puzzle platformer where players control a cartoon octopus infiltrating an alien conspiracy. The game features unique mechanics like wall-climbing and camouflage, with excellent visuals and tense stealth sequences. Despite some minor camera issues and a redundant tutorial, its inventive gameplay and over-the-top silliness make for an enjoyable, albeit brief, experience.
