Renegade Games has expanded the open playtest for its roguelite autobattler castle builder, Castle Away, adding native support for Mac and Linux, as well as controller functionality. The playtest, which allows players to scavenge, slay monsters, and build synergistic builds on a castle grid, has been extended until May 11th.

Strategy roguelite Castle Away has been announced by developers René Slump and Sim Kaart, set to release on PC via Steam later this year. The game combines autobattle castle building with roguelite elements, tasking players with scavenging, slaying monsters, and strategically enhancing their floating keep. A closed alpha playtest is also available for sign-ups.
