World of Warcraft rogue server Stormforge is closing down following a Blizzard C&D
The World of Warcraft rogue server Stormforge is shutting down operations by May 14th, 2026, following a cease and desist request from Blizzard Entertainment. While realms will remain accessible until then, new account registrations and content updates will cease. The developers indicated they will pursue new projects outside of Blizzard's intellectual property.
