GAMESCOM NEWS: Stylish indie cel-shaded adventure game launches on Nintendo Switch and Steam this spring
Astronaut Diaries Limited and Ninja Kiwi announced that their debut title, Denari, a cel-shaded isometric action game, will launch on Nintendo Switch and Steam on March 24, 2027. The game features telekinetic combat abilities and a narrative inspired by indigenous and immigrant experiences in New Zealand. A playable demo will be available at Gamescom 2026.
Meet Yoshie: Revealing Denshattack!’s first boss battle
Undercoders has revealed the first boss battle for their upcoming action game, Denshattack!, set to launch on July 15 for PlayStation 5. The game features frenetic trick-based gameplay with trains in a dystopian Japan, drawing inspiration from extreme sports titles and Y2K aesthetics. The first boss, Yoshie, is an influencer whose train transforms into a magical girl-esque mecha for a multi-phase battle.
