A UK cinema chain's description for The Super Mario Bros. Movie sequel briefly mentioned Wario, suggesting his potential inclusion in the upcoming film. While the listing has since been updated, this has fueled speculation about which characters will appear alongside Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Rosalina. The film is slated for an April release and was teased in a trailer introduced by Shigeru Miyamoto.
