Esfandi clarified on Twitter that he is not, and never will be, Paul, a character who was controversially introduced in the comics. The actor, also known for playing Ezra Bridger in Ahsoka, is credited simply as 'The Boyfriend', fueling further speculation about his role in the film's future.
