Pokémon Go celebrated its 10th anniversary by recreating the original trailer's Times Square Mewtwo raid event. Over 1,000 players participated in a community raid battle against Mega Mewtwo Y, with player avatars and Pokémon appearing on the surrounding Times Square screens. The event also featured in-game countdowns and raids/spawns representing each year of the game's release.
