GSC Game World announced that Update 2.0 for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl will launch on August 20, introducing a major visual overhaul, enhanced A-Life systems, new weapons, and custom difficulty options. The first major expansion, Cost of Hope, will also release on the same day, focusing on the conflict between the Duty and Freedom factions.
