Digital Switch 2 Games Will Now Be Priced Differently From Physical Games
Nintendo announced that starting in May 2026, digital versions of first-party Nintendo Switch 2 games will have different MSRPs than their physical counterparts. The company cited differing production and distribution costs as the reason for the change. Additionally, Nintendo must comply with the EU's 'right to repair' policy, requiring replaceable batteries in the Switch 2.
