Monochrome Echoes: White coming to Switch this summer
Mebius and Thousand Games announced that the otherworldly summoning RPG Monochrome Echoes: White will be released for the Nintendo Switch this summer for 2,800 yen. The game, which features hack-and-slash combat and exploration, was previously released in Early Access for PC in March 2025 and fully launched in April 2025.

Dungeon Lurker is an upcoming hack 'n slash roguelike that stands out with its unique art style, blending large, animated comic book-inspired sprites with dark fantasy themes reminiscent of Berserk and Dark Souls. Despite being a roguelike, it will feature over 30 unique levels instead of procedural generation, and will include secrets hidden within its game manual. The game is slated for an early 2027 release on Steam.
No Rest for the Wicked to Exit Early Access on PC, Come to PS5 in October 2026
Moon Studios announced that No Rest for the Wicked will exit Early Access on PC and launch on PlayStation 5 in October 2026. The hack-and-slash RPG's final chapter will be included in the 1.0 release, which will also feature its unique art style blending horrific scenarios with distorted proportions. While currently available in Early Access on PC, the studio is considering other console platforms like Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch 2.

LINE Games has launched 'The Forge' season for its hack-and-slash action RPG UNDECEMBER, developed by NEEDS Games. This update introduces a revamped gear crafting system with Tier 15 Gear Options, a new Card System for character growth, two new skills ('Frost Storm' and 'Axe Throw'), and various system overhauls for improved gameplay convenience. LINE Games is also hosting celebratory events with in-game rewards.
Atomic Owl soars onto Playstation, Switch & Xbox May 20th!
Atomic Owl, a synthwave pixel art hack 'n slash platformer roguelite, is set to release on PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch on May 20th for $12.99. Developed by Monster Theater Games, the title features eight roguelite zones, a "NO ROGUELITE" mode, and enhanced audio and UX improvements for its console debut.
