A free demo for the upcoming PlayStation 5 RPG Final Fantasy Resonance is now available on the PlayStation Store. Co-developed by Square Enix and Lancarse, this HD-2D title is based on the first story arc of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius and features a turn-based battle system. The demo allows players to experience the opening chapter, with progress transferable to the full game releasing October 22, 2026.

Final Fantasy Resonance, the first HD-2D title in the series, will launch on October 22nd for consoles and PC at $49.99. The game is a rebuilt console RPG experience based on the first story arc of Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, featuring turn-based battles and classic Final Fantasy elements. Square Enix also provided updates on Kingdom Hearts 4 and Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World.
