The upcoming "Companions Make Home" update for Where Winds Meet is scheduled to launch on June 25, 2026. This update will introduce a homesteading system where players can restore and design their own residence, recruit NPCs to assist, and adopt feline companions named Maverick, Scar, and Pudding, with a goose named Goldie arriving a week later. The update also includes a pet battle system and themed events, such as a collaboration with Tomb Raider.
